Static Security

Roller doors are often used in factories, warehouses and other industrial settings to allow access. They can open and close at very rapid speeds to make entry more efficient and to help maintain core temperatures inside of the building – something that can be important in warehouses and storage settings. They are highly secure for this reason also, opening and closing rapidly and providing a way of controlling access.

High speed doors may open and close automatically which could have security implications and is something that needs to be considered ahead of installation. This is part of the processes a factory or facility should have in place. The door material should be one that is robust and not easily damaged, reducing the possibility of a break in occurring. The possibility of alarmed doors should be discussed where security is a key concern; the location of the door on the building, and the other security measures already in place, will be key contributing factors.
